Summary: Strap in everybody, because we're heading back into the Mihmverse! A place of homages to the good old days of b-movie cinema, this time the tribute goes to the genre of atomic horror, and the enlarged beasties it led to. And what better animal to use as the basis than a scary spider?

History: In a quiet little town, something is picking off the locals one by one. As it turns out, there is a giant tarantula on the loose, and no one seems to be able to stop it. Only a few men of differing background can have any hope of figuring out a means of preventing more lives from being needlessly taken.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After many die, the giant spider is led into a trap that involves it getting electrocuted, and then finally blown up. It's an explosive finale, but it gets the job done.

Powers/Abilities: Major durability.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-While it's definitely not meant to look realistic, especially with the less than stellar green-screening, this giant spider actually manages to stand out from its predecessors. This is mainly because unlike the slow-moving creatures of the 50s, it actually moves with all the disturbing speed and realism of an actual tarantula. Also, it's got a big toothy close-up face akin to "The Black Scorpion", so there's that.

Trivia: -The giant spider was played by a big one affectionally named Tarantulos Mihm.
